Ruben Klyuivert, the son of famous footballer Patrick Kluivert and brother of Justin Kluivert, has transferred to the French Ligue 1 team "Lyon". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
A five-year contract was signed with the 24-year-old central defender. The transfer fee amounted to three million seven hundred eighty thousand euros.
Klyuivert's previous team was the Portuguese club "Casa Pia", and he began his football career at the "Utrecht" club. He has also played for the "Dordrecht" team.
Ruben is capable of playing in both left and right central defensive positions. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his value at approximately seven hundred thousand euros.
The "Lyon" team finished sixth in the Ligue 1 tournament last season. They will also participate in the UEFA Europa League competition in the new season.
