Andrey Movsesyan, a specialist who previously served as the sports director of the CSKA team, may continue his work in this position at the capital's "Spartak" football club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Metaratings.ru reports on this matter. Currently, the sports director of the "red-white" team is a specialist from Spain, Francis Kahigao.
He previously worked as a scout for London's "Arsenal" club, served as the sports director of the Chilean national team, and held positions as the head of scouting and international relations at Turkey's "Galatasaray" club. Francis, who joined "Spartak" in January of this year, signed a 2.5-year contract.
Movsesyan has played as a footballer for "Spartak's" reserve team, as well as for CSKA and several other clubs. He has represented the Armenian national team.
In 2012, Movsesyan started working as a scout for the "red-blue" team, later transitioning to the position of sports director, where he worked for nearly a year. It is noteworthy that during Kahigao's tenure, "Spartak" football club purchased Leviy Garcia for 20 million euros.
