The Sun newspaper reported on this. According to the source, Burnley is actively looking for a replacement for James Trafford.

Trafford is preparing to move to Manchester City in the near future. Therefore, Johnstone is considered one of the top candidates for this position.

The Wolverhampton team is ready to sell the 32-year-old goalkeeper for an offer of around 10 million euros. Additionally, the option of a loan is also being discussed.

Last season, Johnstone did not perform very well, conceding 19 goals in 10 matches. The Transfermarkt portal values him at 6 million euros.

Burnley is seriously working on the goalkeeper issue and is considering the possibilities of signing a contract with Johnstone.
