New leaders are emerging in the Zenit team

Former head coach of the Dynamo team in Moscow, Andrey Kobelev, shared his thoughts on the Zenit team from St. Petersburg. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Kobelev noted that the Zenit team is being restructured. In previous championships, the main burden was carried by Kuzyaev, Malkom, Vendel, and Klaudino.

While they made a difference on the field, none of them are currently in the team. Therefore, new leaders need to emerge.

Recently, the Zenit team has been showing strong performances. Last Sunday, they played to a 2:2 draw against Rubin from Kazan away.

In the first round, the St. Petersburg team secured a difficult victory against Rostov at home, with a score of 2:1. In the third round, Zenit will play at home against CSKA in Moscow.

This match will take place on August 3 at the Gazprom Arena stadium. According to Kobelev, the team needs to further develop its game with new leaders.
