Former CSKA football player Valeriy Masalitin shared his thoughts on the transfer of the team's defender Villian Rocha to the "Al-Jazira" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, Rocha was one of the key defenders of the team. However, every player eventually has to part ways with the club.
If Rocha no longer has motivation, there is no point in keeping him in the team. He performed his duties with loyalty and left a good impression on fans and coaches.
Importantly, the transfer fee was also favorable for the club, says Masalitin. Masalitin emphasizes that young defenders Matvey Lukin and Jamalutdin Abdulkadirov are being considered as replacements for Rocha.
Although they are young, they can benefit the team. Additionally, the agency of the Brazilian player recently announced that the agreement between CSKA and the "Al-Jazira" club of the United Arab Emirates has been fully finalized.
Rocha will sign a two-year contract with the new club. "Al-Jazira" will pay 5 million euros to the Moscow club for this transfer.
