Ponomaryov: The CSKA – Lokomotiv match may be decided by penalties

He stated that CSKA's forwards have not been able to show the expected results in recent games. In particular, compared to the match played at the beginning of the season in the Supercup, there are noticeable problems in the team's attacking line at the moment.

It was emphasized that Lokomotiv is not playing poorly at the moment. Ponomaryov noted that there is no clear favorite in this match.

According to him, the teams may play to a draw in regular time. There is a possibility that the result will be decided by a penalty shootout.

The expert believes that CSKA has a chance to win in the penalty shootout. He also mentioned that in CSKA's recent games, it is not the forwards but Danil Krugovoy who has been performing effectively.

It should be noted that in the previous round, CSKA defeated the "Akhmat" team with a score of 2:1. Lokomotiv also won against "Krasnodar" with the same score.
