The Deputy Director of Sports of the CSKA team, Evgeniy Shevelyov, spoke about the process of appointing Fabio Chelestini as the head coach of the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, this issue was resolved in a very short time. Four days passed from the first conversation with Fabio Chelestini to the final decision.
Shevelyov stated that after the main conversation, he had to go to the city of Basel, as Chelestini still had many questions. During the final conversation, it was mainly Chelestini's wife who asked more questions.
Among them was a question about bears walking in Moscow. Under Chelestini's leadership, the CSKA team has accumulated four points in the first two rounds of the Russian championship.
Additionally, the team also won in the first match of the Russian Cup and secured the country's Super Cup. Thus, the coaching appointment process was effectively completed in a short time.
