Former football player Sergey Terehov played for the "Khimki" team in the Moscow region. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He expressed his opinion about the situation related to Tufanov Sadiqov, who previously financed this team. After the "Khimki" team failed to obtain a license and began the bankruptcy process, Sadiqov became a co-owner of the "Serik Belediyespor" club.
According to Terehov, Sadiqov purchased this club for approximately 350 million rubles. He emphasized in conversations with his acquaintances that this amount was sufficient to pay off "Khimki's" debts.
Terehov stated that he was saddened to hear this news. Last season, "Serik Belediyespor" won the Turkish second division.
At the beginning of the new season, this team was led by Russian specialist Sergey Yuran. In Terehov's opinion, Sadiqov's investment in the new club and achieving results is noteworthy.
At the same time, the problems that arose in "Khimki" disappointed many football fans. Currently, "Serik Belediyespor" is participating in the first division, and the team faces the task of conquering new heights.
