Former football player Dmitriy Khomukha, who previously played for St. Petersburg's "Zenit" and Moscow's CSKA teams, gave several recommendations to "Zenit" midfielder Maksim Glushenkov. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, Glushenkov should primarily focus his attention on football. Other factors are distracting him too much and negatively affecting his results.
Khomukha believes that the player should pay more attention to his game rather than giving interviews and should stay away from excessive talk. Because such interviews do not help him; on the contrary, they worsen his mental state.
Glushenkov scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists last season. He showed good results in the initial stages of the competition: in the first four games, he recorded seven goals and one assist.
However, later the player suffered injuries consecutively and was unable to play for about two months. As a result, he missed a significant part of the season and could not help the team.
Experts expect Glushenkov to achieve high results in the future as well.
