Anton Miranchuk, a player of the "Sion" football club, commented on rumors about a possible transfer to Moscow's CSKA team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The footballer emphasized that he has not received any official offer from CSKA. According to him, the initiative for collaboration did not come from him either.
According to Miranchuk, CSKA's head coach Nikolaich has not invited him to the team, and he himself has not sought such an opportunity. "If I wanted to play in Russia, I would have stayed at 'Lokomotiv'," the footballer said in an interview with Sport24.
It should be noted that Miranchuk moved to Switzerland's "Sion" club in the fall of 2024. The 29-year-old midfielder has played 25 matches for the team since then, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
Miranchuk's current contract with "Sion" will last until the summer of 2026.
