Rahimov: The Rubin squad is strengthening slowly

The head coach of the "Rubin" football team, Rashid Rahimov, expressed his dissatisfaction with the slow progress in strengthening the team's squad. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the club's inactivity during the summer transfer window is concerning him. The coach emphasized that due to the management's sluggishness, while other clubs are attracting new players, "Rubin" seems to be stagnating in its position.

Rahimov stated that given the current state of the team, results cannot be expected, and it is essential to add new players to the squad for development. It is worth noting that "Rubin" started the new season successfully.

In the first two rounds of the Premier League, Rahimov's team collected four points. Initially, "Rubin" won 2-0 against "Akhmat" away, and in the next match, they drew 2-2 with "Zenit" at home.

The next game will take place on August 4, Monday. "Rubin" will face the "Sochi" team at home.
