The fans of Belgrade's Partizan football club directed insulting words at the players of Ukraine's Alexandria team during the second qualifying round of the Conference League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Supporters of the Serbian club insulted the Ukrainian players with derogatory terms and also chanted offensive slogans against the NATO organization. It was previously reported that UEFA had prohibited the Alexandria team from entering the field with the Ukrainian flag during the match.
As a result of the match, the Partizan team won 4:0, and the overall score across the two matches was 6:0. It was also revealed that a week earlier, during the first match, fans of the Alexandria team had used insulting words towards the players of Partizan and Russia's CSKA team.
These incidents will be monitored closely by UEFA. The disturbances that occurred during the match and the inappropriate behavior of the fans are expected to be reviewed by the tournament organizers.
