Former CSKA defender Valentin Ponomaryov predicted which team will win in the match between "Zenit" and "CSKA" that will take place in the third round of the RPL. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Valentin Ponomaryov, he rates "CSKA"'s chances highly. He believes that "CSKA" showed a good performance against "Lokomotiv" in the last cup match.
On the other hand, "Zenit" is acting uncertainly in defense. For this reason, Ponomaryov emphasized that "CSKA" needs to score and keep their goal intact.
In his opinion, "CSKA" will win the match with a minimal score of 1:0. The match will take place on August 3 in St. Petersburg.
