Former president of the "Lokomotiv" football club, Olga Smorodskaya, shared her thoughts on the possibility of Sergey Semak, the current head coach of the "Zenit" team, being invited to the "Spartak" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the expert, recently "Spartak" has not always made the right decisions when choosing a new head coach. In her opinion, Sergey Semak is a coach capable of leading "Spartak" out of a difficult situation.
However, Smorodskaya emphasized that the "Zenit" club will not let Semak go to another team for any amount of money. She also noted that Semak is an experienced coach who knows Russian football and the country's championship well.
For reference, last season "Spartak" finished in fourth place in the Russian championship. In the new season, the "red-whites" have accumulated three points after two rounds and are currently in tenth place.
The club faces the task of improving results. For this reason, the issue of the head coach is seriously concerning the team's management.
