Former head coach of Dortmund's "Borussia," Nuri Shakhin has caught the attention of a new club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Turkish specialist managed the "Borussia" team at the beginning of the last season but was dismissed from his position in January of this year. Since then, the 36-year-old coach has not signed a contract with another team.
However, he may start working again soon. According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Nuri Shakhin is at the top of the list of candidates for the head coach position at "Besiktas."
Currently, the club's management is considering ending the collaboration with Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær and proposing a local specialist instead. It is worth noting that Nuri Shakhin has previously worked in Turkey.
Before returning to Dortmund, he served as the head coach of "Antalyaspor." The "Besiktas" team finished fourth in the Turkish championship last season.
The club has now begun searching for a new head coach to improve results.
