Xabi Alonso excluded Dani Carvajal from the starting lineup

However, currently, according to the source, the 33-year-old player will mainly have to sit on the bench and get used to playing less. This situation will not be influenced by his captaincy and legendary status in the "Real" team.

In the right-back position, Xabi Alonso sees Trent Alexander-Arnold as the main player. The English defender fits very well into the style of play chosen by Alonso.

For this reason, Trent is expected to play more in the main squad in the new season. Carvajal will now act more as a backup player.
