Grushevskiy protested to the referee during the CSKA – Zenit match

Russian artist Mikhail Grushevskiy expressed dissatisfaction with the referee's performance during the match between Moscow's CSKA and St. Petersburg's Zenit. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In this match held in the third round, both teams played to a 1:1 draw. Grushevskiy did not seriously protest the actions of referee Chistyakov, but pointed out that the ratio of fouls in the game was 8 to 21, and the number of yellow cards was 0 to 3.

He stated that there are questions regarding this situation. In his opinion, a penalty could have been awarded, but Grushevskiy believes that the player Mantuan deliberately fell in this situation.

After this match, Zenit and CSKA clubs are currently in sixth and seventh places in the championship, respectively. Both teams have collected five points.
