Former midfielder of the Krasnodar team, Aleksey Selin, stated in an interview with Euro-football.ru that the matches “Krasnodar” – “Dinamo” and “Zenit” – CSKA, held in the third round of the Russian Premier League, were significant. According to Selin, the victory of “Krasnodar” over “Dinamo” was not easy, but this result was very important and necessary for the team.
He noted that the initiative taken by striker Kordoba in the match and scoring a goal was of great importance. Selin also commented on the referees' performance, criticizing them for overlooking roughness towards players in certain situations.
In particular, despite the rough play against Kordoba in the first half, the referee did not award a penalty in favor of “Krasnodar.” When coach Musaev protested to the referee, he was shown a yellow card.
Selin considers this situation to be incomprehensible. In his opinion, the games are not easy for “Krasnodar” at the beginning of the season, but the team is gradually adapting and the training is yielding results.
Selin emphasized that the team needs to continue working hard throughout the season. Regarding the match between “Zenit” and CSKA, Selin noted that an unclear penalty was awarded in the game, resulting in a draw.
Despite the strong composition of “Zenit,” the team could not secure a victory. Even with a change of coach at CSKA, they continue to accumulate points.
After three rounds, “Krasnodar” has six points, “Dinamo” has four points, while “Zenit” and CSKA have five points each. “Zenit” is ranked higher than CSKA due to having scored more goals.
