Petrjela: Glushenkov must leave if he does not meet the requirements
Football coach Vlastimil Petrjela once worked with the "Zenit" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the club management should decide how to proceed with player Maksim Glushenkov. This season, Glushenkov has been sidelined from the main squad.
According to various sources, this has led to a disagreement between him and head coach Sergey Semak. According to Petrjela, if Maksim cannot meet the coach's requirements and does not work at the necessary level, it makes no sense to keep such a player in the team.
He stated: “If Glushenkov does not act as the coach wants, he should be excluded from the team. There is no other benefit to expect from him.”
In the last football season, Glushenkov was one of the leading players in the "Zenit" squad. He played in 26 matches for the team, scoring 11 goals and providing 5 assists.
Glushenkov's contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2028. Therefore, his future is currently under discussion.
