Movement has begun in the city of Zaragoza, as it has been selected as one of the venues for the 2030 World Cup matches. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In this regard, a new stadium will be needed for the city. The current "Romareda" stadium does not meet the modern requirements and standards set by FIFA for such large-scale competitions.
Therefore, the construction of a new arena is planned. The renovation work on the stadium is scheduled to begin at the end of September.
During this time, the "Zaragoza" football team will hold its home games at another stadium, namely "Iberkaxa." According to the plans, by 2027, the "Zaragoza" team will return to its renovated stadium equipped according to modern requirements.
It is known that the Spanish national team is currently the European champion. These changes will serve to further develop the sports infrastructure of the city of Zaragoza.
The new stadium is intended to be comfortable and modern not only for players but also for spectators. This will enable the city to host international competitions at a high level.
