Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez is close to moving to Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Nunez will sign a three-year contract with the new club, until the summer of 2028. It has been revealed that Darwin Nunez will earn a total of 66 million euros over three seasons in Saudi Arabia.
This amount is significantly higher than his earnings at Liverpool. Earlier, it was reported that the Saudi club had agreed to pay Liverpool 53 million euros for the player.
This amount is being set without considering bonuses. It should be noted that Darwin Nunez has been playing for Liverpool since 2022.
The striker is currently 26 years old. He has played a total of 143 matches for the English club, scoring 40 goals.
Last season, he became the English champion with Liverpool. Additionally, Liverpool had purchased Nunez from Portugal's Benfica for 85 million euros.
Thus, a new phase in Darwin Nunez's career is expected to begin.
