RB Leipzig player Xavi Simons may transfer to Chelsea. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
So far, the terms of the deal between the two clubs have not been fully agreed upon. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has expressed his willingness to move to his new team and is now waiting for the transfer details to be finalized.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea considers the price for the Dutch player to be between 45-50 million pounds (equivalent to 51-57 million euros) and does not plan to pay more than this amount. In January, RB Leipzig purchased Xavi Simons from PSG for 50 million euros.
According to Transfermarkt, the player's current value is 70 million euros, and his existing contract with the German club is set to last until mid-2027. Reports suggest that negotiations regarding Xavi Simons are expected to continue after the sale of Benjamin Šeško.
So far, no final decision has been made between the clubs on all financial and legal matters. Therefore, Xavi Simons' transfer to Chelsea may be officially confirmed in the coming days.
