Cherchesov became the head coach of "Akmat", fans are hopeful

On Wednesday, Stanislav Cherchesov was officially appointed as the head coach of Grozny's "Axmat" football team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

His coaching colleague Igor Kolyvanov shared his thoughts on the matter. According to Kolyvanov, the "Axmat" team is currently in a difficult situation.

At the beginning of the championship, the team lost three consecutive matches. Nevertheless, Stanislav Cherchesov has enough time to restore the team.

The Grozny team will have to play against all opponents, not just "Zenit", but also against other teams. So far, "Axmat" has started the new season unsuccessfully.

The club has suffered a total of four defeats – three in the Russian Premier League and one in the Russian Cup. These results were achieved under the leadership of Aleksandr Storojuk.

Now, on August 9, Stanislav Cherchesov will lead the team onto the field for the first time after returning to "Axmat". In this match, the Grozny team's opponent will be the "Zenit" club from St. Petersburg, and the game will be held at the "Axmat Arena" stadium.
