Ignatyev: Jordan and Qatar are strong rivals

The Russian national team will hold friendly matches against the national teams of Jordan and Qatar in September. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Football expert Boris Ignatyev shared his opinion on this matter. According to him, the national teams of Jordan and Qatar are slightly stronger compared to previous opponents, but they still cannot compete with European giants.

Nevertheless, in the current situation, playing against such opponents is considered appropriate. For reference, the match between Russia and Jordan will take place on September 4.

The game against the Qatar national team is scheduled for September 7. It should be noted that since February 2022, the Russian national team and clubs have been banned from participating in international competitions.

For this reason, the Russian national team is currently only holding friendly matches. Through these games, the team is trying to maintain its sporting form.
