Unexpectedly, the German sanitary and epidemiological control service conducted an inspection at the Iduna Park stadium. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
As a result of the inspection, a number of deficiencies were identified in the restaurants located in the stadium area. According to Germany's popular publication Bild, the club will have to urgently spend at least 11 million euros to address these issues.
Currently, work to eliminate the deficiencies has begun. The club management hopes to resolve all identified defects by the first home match scheduled for the end of August.
In this match, Dortmund's Borussia team will face Union Berlin. It is worth noting that Dortmund's Borussia football club last won the German championship in 2012.
Overall, the club has been the national champion eight times in its history. Now, the club faces the task of modernizing and securing the stadium infrastructure, as well as creating a comfortable and clean environment for fans.
