Spartak is not planning to buy Xavi Rodriges

The central defender of Spain's Celta team, Xavi Rodriges, will not move to Moscow's Spartak team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Earlier, the player's representative commented on reports of interest from the major Russian club. It has become known that Spartak is not interested in the Celta defender.

According to our information, the Moscow club is actively searching to strengthen its central defense line, but 22-year-old Rodriges is not included in the list of potential new players. Spartak is currently hoping to sign Saul Koko, who is still playing for the Torino team.

It is said that Torino is demanding 18-20 million euros for Saul Koko, but Spartak is only willing to pay a maximum of 16 million euros for this player. Therefore, for now, Xavi Rodriges's transfer to Spartak is not planned.

The club management continues to search for ways to strengthen the defense line.
