Dmitriy Sichev: Club management is more complex than playing football

Dmitriy Sichev, a former forward of Moscow's Lokomotiv team and the Russian national team, spoke about the challenges in his current job. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Starting from 2024, Sichev is serving as the president of the Irtysh club, which will participate in the Russian second division. According to Dmitriy Sichev, being a club president is much more complex than being a player.

He stated that a player is only required to arrive on time for training or matches. However, a president must organize the entire process correctly, find financial resources, and manage the club's activities effectively.

Sichev noted that these tasks require great responsibility and constant attention. Currently, Dmitriy Sichev is 41 years old.

He was born in Omsk and initially played for the children's and youth teams of the city's Dinamo club. Later, he moved to the Smena team in St. Petersburg and began his professional career with Tambov's Spartak club.

Thus, Sichev has gone through his football career and is now testing himself in club management.
