Ukrainian national team defender Oleksandr Zinchenko may leave London’s Arsenal team before the summer transfer window closes. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to internal sources, the player has received a job offer from the Turkish Super League. In particular, Istanbul's Fenerbahce club has expressed interest in adding Zinchenko to their squad.
This club is currently managed by Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho. Arsenal is looking to receive approximately 15 million euros for the transfer of Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Last season, Zinchenko spent more time on the bench than in the starting lineup for Arsenal. He played a total of 23 matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
Currently, no definitive decision has been made regarding the player's future. Negotiations between Fenerbahce and Zinchenko are ongoing.
If the parties reach an agreement, the Ukrainian defender will have the opportunity to play in the Turkish championship. At the same time, Arsenal is also expecting to gain financial benefits from the transfer.
