French national team legend Robert Pires shared his thoughts on the situation surrounding PSG's goalkeepers. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Recently, the club offered another player for the goalkeeper position, and Luka Chevalier joined the team. According to Pires, he would keep Gianluigi Donnarumma at PSG and prefers to sell Matvey Safonov.
In his opinion, selling Safonov makes sense, as the team needs another goalkeeper who can encourage Donnarumma to develop further. Pires holds Luka Chevalier in high regard and speaks warmly about him.
However, he does not express confidence that Chevalier would agree to be the second goalkeeper. It is worth noting that Matvey Safonov played one season for PSG.
Last season, he won the championship four times with the team, including the Champions League trophy. Thus, significant changes are taking place in the club's goalkeeper line, and the management is trying to find the most optimal solution for the team's future.
