Former forward of the Russian national team Dmitriy Sychyov expressed his opinion about the new head coach of the CSKA team in Moscow, Fabio Chelestini. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the CSKA management made the right decision in choosing a coach. Sychyov emphasized that he initially thought a Russian specialist would be appointed to this position.
However, the club acted quickly and decisively, and under Chelestini's leadership, the team began to showcase bright and attacking football. For reference, CSKA, under Chelestini's guidance, has not lost in any of its first six matches of the new season.
During this period, the team won four times and recorded two draws. Chelestini was appointed head coach of the CSKA team in June of this year.
Prior to this, he worked with Switzerland's Basel team, where he won the national championship and cup. Through this, Chelestini demonstrated his coaching potential.
It can be seen that the CSKA team has prepared well for the new season under his leadership.
