
Jonathan Alba, head coach of the Rostov team, shared his thoughts with "Match TV" after the match against Pari NN. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Speaking about the events in the game, he emphasized that until the 70th minute, the match was under the team's control. However, in the final minutes of the game, the sending off of team members and problems in front of the goal due to set pieces occurred.
He said that even while playing with ten players, they tried to score goals, but after being reduced to nine players, the situation became difficult for them. Nevertheless, the team continued to apply pressure and attempted shots towards the goal, but no result was achieved.
The coach stated that they will continue preparing for the upcoming matches. When asked about the referees' decisions, he did not comment and emphasized that those decisions are the responsibility of the referee.
He mentioned that he is not accustomed to talking about referees. Speaking about the importance of the cup for the team, he said that the cup is important for Rostov, but the main goal is to collect 33 points as soon as possible in the championship.
He also stressed that the cup matches hold great significance for the team. Overall, the coach said that the team has clear objectives ahead and strives to give their all in every match.
