Nababkin began his professional career in 2005 at the now-defunct "Moscow" club and played there for four years. Later, he played for CSKA for 14 years, winning several trophies, including the championship.

Additionally, last December he emphasized that he still holds hope of playing at a high level. His career has been recognized by many fans, and he is known as an important representative of Russian football.
