Lokomotiv team head coach Mikhail Galaktionov denied rumors about midfielder Aleksey Batrakov leaving the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, if there was interest from leading European clubs, the transfer issue could have been discussed, but so far no such offers have come. Galaktionov advised Batrakov to focus on strengthening his level.
He said: “There is currently no reason to leave. If a top European club is interested, the club management will at least have a conversation.
But so far there are no such talks. Batrakov should focus on improving his game.” In the fifth round of the Russian championship, Lokomotiv played a 1:1 draw away against Baltika.
With 13 points, Lokomotiv leads the tournament table. The team's next match will take place on August 23 at home against Rostov.
