Two young football players who joined the Manchester City club at the same time – talented defender Abduqodir Husanov from Uzbekistan and skilled midfielder Vitor Reis from Brazil – have quickly become friends. Interestingly, their communication mainly happens through gestures due to their limited knowledge of English.
Vitor Reis mentioned this in a video posted on the club's social media:
“Husa (Husanov) and I arrived at the team at the same time, so this environment was new for both of us. We go to the café together and do other things together as well. The main difficulty is our lack of language skills; neither I nor Husa can speak English. Therefore, we often communicate through gestures and laughter.”
According to Reis, this situation has brought them closer and strengthened their friendship:
“Husa has become like a brother to me. From the day we met, we became friends and soon became close friends. Overcoming difficulties together and supporting each other has made our life here easier.”
