In the JCH-2026 qualifying stage, the Uzbekistan national team achieved an important draw against the UAE, securing a spot in the World Cup for the first time in its history. After this match, our young and talented player Abbosbek Fayzullayev shared his feelings and impressions.

“It’s hard to express my current feelings in words. I have dreamed of this day since my childhood. As a child, I always prayed for our national team to take the field while watching the World Cups on television. The dream of participating in this great tournament filled our hearts, and today we have reached that dream. We are incredibly happy to have achieved this success,” the player did not hide his emotions.

Abbosbek Fayzullayev also spoke excitedly about the personal call from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, congratulating the national team’s head coach and players after the match.

“Our esteemed President personally called us and sent his sincere and warm congratulations. The special attention and support from our state leader was a great moral boost for our players. I thank him greatly. This attention and care have borne fruit,” Fayzullayev emphasized.
