"Milan" Massimiliano Allegrini stepped down and reforms began in the management

After an unsuccessful campaign in the Italian championship, Milan club decided to end cooperation with head coach Massimiliano Allegri, Zamin.uz reports.
Following the latest round of the national championship, which left the team without Champions League qualification, the management was forced to make drastic decisions on Monday. According to Goal.com, Allegri is expected to soon take over as head coach of Napoli, replacing Antonio Conte.
These changes, which have caused a major stir in Italian football circles, were not limited to the coach’s departure alone. Representatives of the club’s owners, RedBird Capital, also initiated sweeping reforms in the management structure.
It has been reported that, alongside Massimiliano Allegri, executive director Giorgio Furlani, sporting director Igli Tare, and technical director Geoffrey Moncada have all been relieved of their duties. This wave of dismissals followed the team’s 2–0 defeat to Cagliari in the final round of the Italian championship.
As a result of this loss, Milan dropped to fifth place in the standings and will compete in the Europa League next season—a tournament that grants second-place finishers European qualification. Missing out on continental competition for two consecutive seasons is being viewed as a serious setback for the club.
In an official statement released at the end of the season, the club’s owners said that despite showing strong performance in pairs throughout the year, ending with such a poor result constitutes absolute failure. Allegri’s second stint at Milan ended much earlier and less successfully than anticipated.
Meanwhile, the 58-year-old specialist, who previously achieved major success with the club between 2010 and 2014, this time managed to last only one season. Milan’s failure to secure a top-four finish saw them overtaken by Como.
For the experienced coach who previously won five Serie A titles and five Coppa Italia trophies with Juventus, this event undoubtedly ranks among the most painful and least fortunate moments of his career.
Now, the club is striving to restore its standing with a new head coach and a renewed management team.
