“Manchester City” fans have filed a lawsuit against the club due to changes in the season ticket policy, according to euro-football.ru.

According to The Guardian, the “Trade Union Blues” group, consisting of members of the traders' association, is seeking to challenge the demands placed on season ticket holders by the club in court with the help of the “Leigh Day” law firm.

Under the new rule, fans must attend at least 16 home matches in a season to renew their season tickets. Only 6 of those games can have tickets transferred to another person or refunded.

Fans consider this a system that does not take into account individual circumstances and violates consumer rights. They believe this approach discriminates against fans who cannot attend regularly. According to the club, an average of 8 percent of the total 37,000 season ticket holders do not attend home games.
