Chelsi signs Sporting midfielder Geovani Kuenda

The English side officially confirmed the signing of a long-term contract with talented winger Geovani Quenda from Sporting Lisbon. This move aligns with the club’s long-term strategy of nurturing young talent.
According to Goal.com, the 19-year-old footballer has signed an eight-year deal with the aristocrats, running until 2034. It is reported that Chelsea paid 50 million euros to the Portuguese club for this transfer.
Quenda is regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young players, capable of operating effectively both as a winger and a wing-back. Having emerged in the Portuguese championship, the player made six appearances for Sporting, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists.
Notably, his performances last season drew attention from specialists. He played a significant role in helping his team win the league and the cup, achieving a golden double.
During his time at the club, the young talent also managed to set several records. He became the youngest player in Sporting’s history to score on his debut.
