According to him, the former player of “Manchester United” remains the main contender for the championship, which is still “Zenit.” At the same time, Kanchelskis expects “Spartak” to start the season well. He stated that the balance of power in Russian football has not undergone significant changes.
“Zenit” is still considered the main candidate for the championship in the new season. Speaking about “Spartak,” Kanchelskis emphasized that the “red-whites” will perform well and show good results in the first five rounds of the Russian Premier League. Kanchelskis also noted that “Spartak” always demonstrates strong performances at the beginning of the season, but later, despite discussions about the championship struggle, the final results may not meet expectations. There are approximately three weeks left until the start of the new season of the Russian championship.
