Next year, the World Cup will be hosted by the national teams of the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Considering the hot climate in the USA, FIFPro is requesting FIFA to extend the break time between matches in the 2026 World Cup from 15 minutes to 20 minutes.

Additionally, it is proposed to increase the breaks allocated for drinking water during each half. At the same time, it is recommended to schedule matches in the hottest areas for later times.
