Matteo Rudzheri has moved to the "Atletiko" club

Italian national team midfielder Matteo Rudzheri has changed clubs, moving from Atalanta to Madrid's Atletico. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The team's official website announced this. The new contract was signed for a duration of 5 years.

According to various sources, the transfer fee amounted to 17 million euros. Under the terms, Atalanta could receive an additional 3 million euros.

Matteo Rudzheri has primarily continued his career at Atalanta. Last season, the 22-year-old player appeared in 38 matches across all competitions, recording 3 assists.

Although he mainly operated as a left-sided midfielder, he was also deployed as a central and left defender in some matches. This transfer marks a new stage in Rudzheri's career, as he aims to prove himself at the Madrid club.
