Bitello became the team captain without attending the meetings

The goalkeeper of the "Dinamo" team, Andrey Lunyev, shared his thoughts on the midfielder Bitello's role as the team captain. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, this situation is surprising and incomprehensible. Although Bitello had not attended the training sessions before, he is now chosen as the captain.

Lunyev stated that considering who was on the field, it would have been more logical to give the captain's armband to Kutitskiy. It is noted that during the winter season, the Brazilian player did not attend training for a long time because he wanted to leave the club.

Nevertheless, the "Dinamo" management did not allow him to leave the team. Last season, the 25-year-old Bitello played a total of 35 matches in all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 14 assists.

His current contract with "Dinamo" is set to last until the summer of 2028. Bitello is considered an important player for the team, and his selection as captain is seen as a sign of confidence within the team.
