Former Moscow "Spartak" defender Eduard Mor commented on the changes in the game with the arrival of Fabio Chelestini as the head coach of CSKA. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The specialist noted that the Swiss coach has not significantly changed the team's main playing style, but has improved certain aspects. According to Mor, a major restructuring or new tactics were expected at CSKA, but in practice, the team's quick play, transition from defense to attack, and the style of short and precise passing instead of long passes have remained unchanged.
Additionally, the movements between the players have improved, with numerous runs and positional changes continuing. Fabio Chelestini took over after Marko Nikolich left the team in June.
Nikolich had moved to Greece's AEK club. The CSKA team will play against the country's champion "Krasnodar" on July 12 in Kazan as part of the Russian Super Cup.
This match will be an important test for the teams ahead of the new season. Under Chelestini's leadership, CSKA is striving to further improve its game.
