This was confirmed by reliable source Fabrizio Romano. According to the information, Newcastle has reached a verbal agreement with Nottingham Forest for the transfer of the 23-year-old Swedish player.

The transfer fee amounts to 63.8 million euros, including bonuses. Elanga is currently preparing to undergo a medical examination and sign the contract.

Last season in the English Premier League, Elanga played in all 38 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing 11 assists. The new English championship season will start in mid-August.

In the first round, Newcastle will play against Aston Villa, while Nottingham Forest will host Brentford. This transfer is considered a significant change in the teams' preparations for the new season.
