Edin Dzeko will start playing for Fiorentina

39-year-old Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko has been transferred to the Italian club Fiorentina. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The club's press service announced this. The player moved to the Serie A team as a free agent from Turkey's Fenerbahce.

The contract signed with Dzeko is for one year and can be automatically extended for another year upon the fulfillment of certain conditions. Edin Dzeko has been playing for Fenerbahce since 2023.

During this time, he has appeared in 99 matches and scored 46 goals against opponents. Additionally, the striker made 18 assists.

According to official information, Dzeko's debut for Fiorentina is expected to take place in the second half of August. This transfer is aimed at strengthening the team's attacking line.

There is confidence that the collaboration between the club and the player will be successful.
