The Russian Football Federation's KDK has expelled the "Torpedo" team from the Russian Premier League due to their attempts at match-fixing during the spring season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Famous agent Dmitriy Selyuk shared his thoughts on this situation. He emphasized that attempts to influence referees in the second division are a common occurrence.
According to Selyuk, if first league teams were subjected to polygraph tests, probably none of them would pass clean. He stated that he is ready to offer a $50,000 reward to any club that comes out clean.
In the agent's view, the team leader, sports director, general director, and coach should participate in the investigation. In the second division, only one or two teams are considered clean.
Selyuk claims that it is clear that all teams striving for promotion to the Premier League and those at risk of relegation are involved in corruption. This situation poses a serious threat to the integrity of Russian football.
