The Moscow "Torpedo" club's general director Sergey Sinyaev confirmed the club's intention to start the 2025/2026 season within the framework of the Paris League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Previously, it was announced that the club's board of directors needed to make a final decision on this matter. According to Sinyaev, an official response from the board has not yet been received, and a decision is expected to be made.
The club has stated its readiness for all situations. The "Arena Khimki" field is planned to be chosen as the home stadium.
Additionally, recently "Torpedo" was expelled from the Russian Premier League and fined five million rubles for organized matches by the club's management. It was also reported that a relevant criminal case has been opened against one of the club's owners and the team director, and the investigation process is ongoing.
The club's future activities and management decisions are expected to be dependent on these processes.
