Defender John Terry spent almost his entire career at London's Chelsea club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
However, towards the end of his career, in 2017, he attempted to play for the Aston Villa team. The footballer stated that at that time the Villans were playing in the second league.
Nevertheless, Terry included a clause in his contract that if the team returned to the Premier League, he would not participate in matches against Chelsea. He explained this decision by saying: "It would be wrong to play against my former club, so I insisted on including such a clause."
It is worth noting that John Terry played for Chelsea from 1998 to 2015.
