Kanishev: Zenit will not celebrate until they win the RPL

Former St. Petersburg "Zenit" player Alexander Kanishev shared his thoughts on the "blue-white-blue" team's revenge mood ahead of the new season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He stated that if "Zenit" does not win the championship again, the celebration will be postponed for the third year. This situation will continue until the club becomes champion.

According to Kanishev, everything will be fine. In addition to "Zenit," teams like CSKA, "Krasnodar," "Dinamo," and "Spartak" will also compete for the championship.

At the end of the last season, "Zenit" secured second place in the Russian championship, having collected only one point less than "Krasnodar." In the Russian Cup, the Petersburg team was eliminated in the final stage of the RPL path and lost to the next prizewinner, Moscow CSKA.
