The "Akron" football team from Tolyatti has announced its goals for the 2025/2026 season of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The team plans to compete for a place in the top eight during the season. Last season was the first participation for "Akron" in the top league of Russian football.
The team owner Pavel Anatolyevich Morozov recently emphasized in an interview with the media that the team aims to secure seventh or eighth place. Head coach Zaur Tedeev noted the need to strengthen certain positions.
At the end of last season, "Akron" secured ninth place in the league table. It was also reported that the best goalscorer in the history of Russian football, Artyom Dzyuba, has extended his contract with the club for another season.
The team is preparing to achieve even stronger results in the new season.
